Enhanced Security that Protects Your Identity
IDCheck is a new tool designed to enhance security and streamline identity verification for Shared Branching transactions when visiting another state. This upgrade helps Participating Credit Unions validate guest members’ identities more effectively, reducing the risk of potential fraud.
Effective May 1, 2025
Starting May 1, 2025, all Shared Branch users (who utilize a Shared Branch in another state) must preload their state-issued driver’s ID into the IDCheck application before visiting a Participating Shared Branch location. This ensures a smoother and more secure transaction experience for everyone involved.
Who Needs to Prepare?
