HFCU’s Night Depository Service is a secure, quick, and convenient way to make after-hours deposits into your HFCU accounts. Our Night Depository is available for use 24-hours-a-day, allowing you to make any deposit at your own convenience. For your safety and your account’s safety, locations are well-lit, and at least two HFCU employees empty the depository simultaneously. Money is posted into your account the following business day, or posted on the current day if deposited before 2:00 p.m.

Houston Federal Credit Union has a Notary at every office and is a free service for HFCU members. A Notary is an official of integrity appointed by state government —typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents.

A Notary’s duty is to screen the signers of important documents — such as property deeds, wills and powers of attorney — for their true identity, their willingness to sign without duress or intimidation, and their awareness of the contents of the document or transaction. Impartiality is the foundation of the Notary’s trust. They are duty-bound not to act in situations where they have a personal interest.
